RealNetworks Revs RealPlayer

Seattle-based RealNetworks said today that it has released a new version of its RealPlayer application. According to RealNetworks, the new application--currently in beta--adds new features such as organizing videos, photos and music; downloading videos from web sites; better support for music and video formats; and ability to convert videos to formats suitable for iPhone, iPad, Android, and Blackberry. The firm said the free applicaton is available for download from a beta site.
