RealNetworks: 8M Users Using RealPlayer Cloud

Seattle-based RealNetworks said late Monday that its now has over 8 million users using its RealPlayer Cloud service, the company's online video sharing service it launched last year. RealNetworks said those are spread across 40 countries. RealPlayer Cloud is aimed at letting users share their personal videos with families and friends. RealNetowrks said it will be offering up 365 gigabytes of cloud storage space for $4.99 a month as part of a promotion marking its first year of the service.
