Zillow Rolls Out New Renter Profiles

In a move which crosses social networking with the sometime arduous process of qualifying for an apartment or other rental property, Zillow said this week that it has created something called the Renter Profile, a way to create your own, personal profile to help convince property managers to select you for an available property. Zillow said the new tool lets renters include everything from personal bio, reason for moving, self-reported credit score, to employment and references, to help those renters stand out to landlords and property managers. The new feature comes as rental prices have been rising due to lack of rental inventory and high demand.
