Parallels Software Turns Mac, Windows Apps To iPad Apps

Did you ever wish you could run that trusty Mac or Windows app you have on your iPad? Parallels, the Renton, Washington-based software developer behind the virtualization software of the same name, has just launched new software which does exactly that. Parallels said its new software, Parallels Access for iPad, let users run any Mac or Window app as a native, iPad product, including support for gestures, taps, and other native user interface features. Parallels said the new app is available as a free beta, and will be available for $79.99 for each computer being accessed. The Mac version is available via trial, the PC version is in beta mode and available at no charge during testing.
