Convoy Snags $185M

Seattle-based Convoy, which operates an online marketplace for trucking operators, has raised $185M in a Series C funding, the company said last week. The funding was led by CapitalG, the growth equity arm of Google. The company says it has now raised more than $265M in total. CapitalG's David Lawee joins the company's board with the funding. The funding round also included new funding from T. Rowe Price Associates, Inc. and Lone Pine Capital, as well as other existing investors.
